Veyra Energy is a self-initiated CGI spec commercial created to explore how a premium energy drink could be brought to life through a distinctive, visually driven campaign.
The project was developed as a complete commercial piece, combining product visualisation with character animation, stylised environments and dynamic transitions. The aim was to move beyond a conventional product render and create a world around the drink , one built around movement, endurance and energy.

The Concept
The central idea was transformation through movement.
A lone runner moves continuously through a series of evolving environments. As the journey progresses, the landscape, atmosphere and visual language shift around the character, creating the feeling that the world is changing with their momentum. The energy drink becomes the visual anchor connecting these different moments, culminating in a series of more focused product shots that bring the narrative back to the brand.

Production
The project was developed from initial concept through to final delivery, covering:
-
Creative concept and art direction
-
Environment creation and look development
-
Character integration and animation
-
Product modelling, materials and visualisation
-
Lighting and rendering
-
Procedural and atmospheric effects
-
Transition development
-
Compositing, colour grading and final edit

Much of the work centred around making the environments feel rich and tactile. Layered terrain, vegetation, scattered natural elements, displacement and atmospheric effects helped give the landscapes depth while maintaining the stylised art direction. The final imagery was rendered in Blender and brought through post-production and colour finishing in DaVinci Resolve.

The Product
While the film is driven by movement and environment, the product remains central to the visual language.
The closing sequences shift the emphasis towards the can itself, using controlled lighting, close-up materials and hero compositions to give the product the same level of attention normally associated with dedicated advertising photography.
Veyra was developed as a fictional energy drink identity for the project, allowing the film to function as an independent piece of commercial work while demonstrating how the same approach could be applied to an existing brand.

The Output
The finished film demonstrates an end-to-end approach to CGI advertising: taking a simple product and building a wider visual concept, narrative and world around it.
Rather than presenting CGI solely as a way of replicating traditional product photography, the project explores how 3D can be used to create campaign imagery that would be difficult to achieve practically, combining product visualisation, character animation, environmental storytelling and motion within a single piece.
